After a long-awaited 19 months, Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) celebrated the grand opening of its esports arena on Oct. 8. The grand opening was originally scheduled to take place in March 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The excitement only grew over those months of waiting, making the grand opening a much-anticipated event.
